It’s been a stylin’ 2009

It’s been a few years since I started out in BG Home Styling and what a ride it has been. And as this is my first-ever blog I really should update you on all of the happenings in and around BG home styling.

Please have a look at my pages for Awards and In the Press. With these two pages you will gain a better understanding as to what we can provide our clients in helping them to achieve their dreams for their home.

We are looking forward to another brilliant year in 2010. We will write again shortly on New Years resolutions for your house, home and office and how BG home styling help you realise your space and it’s potential.

Happy styling!

On Monday 1 December, I attended the Working Womens Network Gala Awards Evening in Roseville. I am very proud to say that I was a finalist for the Working Women’s Network 2009 Awards Program in the Customer Service category. This was a great honour for me as our customers are the most important part of the business. We really strive to ensure that our customers needs come first and that we look after them first and foremost.

On 22 October of this this year I received an award for Sustainability in Business at Pittwater Council Sustainability Awards. As you can imagine I was honoured to receive such an award as our environment is important to me and my business. Here is a video of me accepting my award:-

Last week BG home styling was featured in an article in the Manly Daily in the property section. The article was focusing on the importance of getting your space ready for the Christmas season and for a possible sale. We at BG home styling really want to achieve the best possible sale price for you and results show that having your home professionally styled can achieve the best result. Below is a copy of the spread below as featured last week and we think that it looks fantastic.

Get ready for Spring!

In Uncategorized on July 28, 2010 at 1:36 am

Not that we’re counting, but it’s just five weeks until Spring is upon us again and for us, it can’t come too soon.

It’s time to spring into action and start clearing and decluttering your home, whatever you situation.

However, never has it been more important to clean and clear your house than if you’re looking at selling your property and more importantly if you’re looking at selling your property and achieving maximum profit in the process.

By utilising just a few inexpensive methods you can ensure that you create the best, all-important, first impression.

Your potential buyer will have made their minds up about your property within just minutes and you need to make sure that they like what they see.

This article, taken from www.realestate.com.au, is an excellent piece that gives some really good pointers about how you can achieve this and without breaking the bank too.

Take a few minutes to watch the below video taken from ExpertRealEstateTips.com – our team can make this happen for you too! Why don’t you contact us?

There’s just 34 sleeps to go so get planning now!

From cluttered, to organised, to styled…. what we can do for you!

So, our stand at the Northern Beaches Expo was a great hit with people visiting us seeing themselves in the chaos of our before set up and wanting to know how they could achieve the calm and organisation of our after displays.  We were in our element as we got to spend a whole day talking about our passion of decluttering peoples lives and watching the benefits that it brings to so many areas of their lives.  It is only when you have lost the clutter from your life that you realise how widespread its affects had been.  Hopefully with all the tips and tricks that we shared with the people we met, they will be able to make a start to bringing order into their lives.

We’ve attached some photos of our stand on the day so you can see what can be achieved for yourselves.  Obviously the first picture is our before set up and is a familiar scene for many many people.  If you’re short on cash but want to streamline your set up then we can advise you on what you can do with your existing furniture and accessories as shown in the second picture.  The last picture shows what can be achieved when you take our advice on selecting furniture and accessories and how to place them to achieve maximum results with the space you’re trying to improve.  The result, a calm, organised work space that will lead to higher levels of productivity and efficiency and ultimately to increased profit, what more could you ask for?

A big thank you goes to Oz Design at Belrose, Kelly’s Office Furniture at Dee Why and Howards Storage World at Warringah Mall for providing the stylish furniture and accessories that made up our stand for the day.
